Are you ambitious, hard-working and wanting to learn new skills? Livra UK Ltd has a ‘learn on the job’ opportunity to acquire a specialist trade as an Interior and Exterior Stone Fixer. This industry has a shortfall of talented Fixers making this a trade with good job security and high earning potential over time.
You would be joining the team at a leading marble fabricator based in South-West London with the opportunity to work on high-end residential projects, installing stonework in London’s premier residences.
What you will learn:
- Introduction to construction, site-work procedures and workflows
- Work closely with an experienced fixing team on a variety of installations
- Learn a varied range of fixing techniques
- Learn to work with a variety of materials and understand the requirements of the different materials
- Understand architectural drawings
- Learn key stonemasonry techniques – hand and power tools
- Thorough understanding of Health & Safety rules and procedures
- Key organisational skills, management of equipment and resources
You must have:
- All Livra UK Ltd ask is that you are motivated, ambitious, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn!
- Maths & English GCSE at Level 2 or above.
The role:
- Full time/permanent, 7.30am to 4.30pm
