About

Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2018 Georgia (b.1996) has championed planographic printmaking techniques. One of her specialisms is stone lithography, a process involving drawing and etching designs on limestones.

Lithography became classified as an endangered craft on the Heritage Crafts Red List in 2023.

Georgia’s award winning editions have been selected for exhibitions including the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and a selection of Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers events including their annual Small But Mighty and IOPE exhibitions. Highlights from her practice over the past twelve months include undertaking a collection of residencies at Aga Lab in Amsterdam researching and refining her knowledge of stone lithography, and winning the Jackson’s Art Prize Planographic Printmaking Award.
