Emma-Jane Rule, Silversmith

In 2023, Emma-Jane Rule from Leicester trained with Kent-based silversmith Ray Walton. She spent her time with Ray making silver boxes, specialising in chasing and repoussé, the process of shaping silver by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief. Emma-Jane is a second-career silversmith who combines commercial practice with teaching the craft to others.
