The Size Group are recruiting an apprentice carpenter/joiner/cabinetmaker.

What you’ll do:

• Any successful applicant will be given experience and training in the fields of carpentry, joinery and cabintemaking, so that the successful applicant can then determine their preferred speciality.
• To complete relevant mandatory and optional units set within the NVQ qualification.
• Carry out relevant site-based tasks as directed by your Manager to ensure the gathering of evidence and understanding of your NVQ qualification, using both knowledge received through college work and site/workshop based tasks.
• Capturing the knowledge and experience of a qualified carpenter – this will include roofing & joisting, first and second fix carpentry works, formwork, kitchens and joinery.
• Carry out relevant site based tasks directed by a Supervisor.
• Demonstrate skills in the safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
