This map, though far from fully populated, demonstrates the diversity and geographic spread of traditional crafts across the country. It is also useful for members of the public to become more familiar with, and better appreciate, the particular crafts of their local area.

Inclusion is free for practicing traditional craftspeople. If you are a traditional craftsperson, you can sign up for inclusion now (see terms below).

Please note: this map is for practicing traditional craftspeople (both full and part time professionals and serious amateurs). It is not for crafts retailers or wholesalers, unless they are also significantly involved in skilled production. Nor is it for contemporary crafts better suited to other crafts directories - in this case the HCA recommends sites such as:
