Bookings are open now for the HCA’s event of the Year – A Place for Craft – at the V&A on 9th May. We have a great line up of speakers and it’s a chance for you to meet craftspeople, hear about making, celebrate the achievements of craftspeople and view, and take part in if you wish, the Instant Gallery.
The HCA’s Annual Conference is moving - but not far! We are changing our date from March to May so that we coincide with an exciting and innovative new craft event in 2015. London Craft Week will, we hope, shine a light on craft, and the HCA is one of the Strategic Partners.
So on Saturday 9th May, we’ll be back at the V&A, and focusing on ‘A Place for Craft’. This will highlight those crafts which exist because location is important, and our plan is to have a number of makers explaining what they do and why it is linked to where they are.
Our keynote speaker is Sir Christopher Frayling, HCA Patron and previously Chair of the Arts Council. This will be one not to miss!
We shall also have our usual Instant Gallery.
More programme details as they are confirmed.
Previous HCA events have been a sell out, so don’t delay in buying your ticket and securing your place.
